  • Unbound: A Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey

Unbound, an experience of deep breathing, expansion, release, freedom, and limitless potential.  In our culture our minds are bound by societal conditioning and harmful beliefs; our spirits are bound by our egos, and our bodies are bound by stress and tension.

In this special practice, conscious connected Breathwork is the vehicle that moves you beyond the ordinary, limited mind, toward a more open, expansive perspective.  It offers you a path to tap into your unique unbound potential.  This is not only a journey for your consciousness, but also for your nervous system;  breathwork supports the development of a flexible nervous system and enhances your capacity to cope with life’s stressors.  Allow the breath to gently loosen the bound places within you.  You may leave this session feeling refreshed, relaxed, cleared out from cathartic release, tender, or carrying with you a pearl of insight delivered to you from the depths of your innate wisdom.

    Saturday, May 31st 4:00 - 5:30 pm

  • Accessible Ashtanga: Primary Series

The primary series of Ashtanga Yoga consists of a specific sequence of yoga poses that are practiced in a specific order. The sequence is designed to create heat and purify the body, while also building strength, flexibility, and focus. It is renowned as a physically demanding practice primarily due to the challenging seated postures and jump throughs / jump backs.

In this workshop Lara will "unpack" the poses of the primary series in an accessible and contemporary way allowing for students to adjust the complex series to their current practice. She will teach how to use props and modifications in order to explore the poses as well as incorporate the tristhana method of breath, bandhas, and drishti.

    Saturday, June 7th from 1:30 - 3:30 pm
