Tommy's journey into yoga began as a personal healing practice after sustaining back injuries from years of martial arts training. In 2022, he met his Yin Yoga teacher Leah Adams, whose guidance and encouragement proved transformative to his healing journey. Under her mentorship, what started as physical recovery evolved into a profound exploration of how Yin Yoga's gentle, sustained postures could restore not just his body, but create deep states of relaxation and inner stillness. Leah's encouragement inspired Tommy to begin his teacher training, igniting his passion for helping others discover their own path to healing.Tommy specializes in Yin Yoga and breathwork, creating calm, supportive environments where students can safely explore deep relaxation and connective tissue release. His teaching integrates mindfulness elements from Buddhism and energetic awareness developed through Shinto practices, offering students a truly holistic experience. As a Reiki Shihan (Master Teacher), he brings additional layers of energetic support to his classes, whether teaching group sessions or offering private healing work.Since beginning his teaching practice in August 2024, Tommy has guided over 150 classes, sharing his belief that yoga meets us wherever we are on our healing journey. His classes provide a welcoming space to reconnect with your body's innate wisdom, develop greater body awareness, and find balance between effort and ease through therapeutic movement and meditation.
