These Membership Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your membership with Ahimsa Studios, LLC DBA Ahimsa Yoga & Pilates Studio (“Studio”), located in the State of Washington. By purchasing or using a membership, you (“Member”) agree to the following terms:
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality available on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, and software, are the exclusive property of Ahimsa Studios, LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and patent laws. Users of the Service are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any unauthorized use of the content, including but not limited to reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. By using the Service, you agree not to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Ahimsa Studios, LLC or any third-party rights.
Membership Options & Payments
The Studio offers various membership packages which may include unlimited or limited class access, discounts on workshops or private sessions, or other benefits. Specific terms are detailed in the selected membership plan at time of purchase.
•Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
•Memberships are non-transferable.
•Payments are processed via automatic billing at the interval specified (monthly, annually, etc.).
•It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure payment information is current and valid.
Cancellation and Suspension Policy
•Members may cancel their membership by providing at least [10/30] days’ written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
•The Studio reserves the right to charge for the next billing period if cancellation notice is not received within this timeframe.
•Suspension (pausing) of memberships may be available for temporary reasons (e.g., travel, injury) at the Studio’s discretion.
Studio Etiquette and Conduct
Members are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow members with respect and follow all Studio rules, including but not limited to:
•Arriving on time for class.
•Respecting the quiet, mindful nature of the space.
•Cleaning equipment after use.
•Following safety instructions for props and Pilates equipment.
The Studio reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership for inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe behavior, without refund.
Class Reservations and Attendance
•Advance registration may be required for classes due to limited space.
•Members agree to cancel reservations within the Studio’s cancellation window to avoid penalties.
•No-shows or late cancellations may incur fees or loss of class credit.
Private Sessions and Workshops
Discounts or credits toward private Pilates sessions, trainings, or workshops may be included with membership tiers. These are subject to separate scheduling and cancellation policies.
Health and Safety
Members affirm that they are physically fit to participate in classes and will notify instructors of any relevant injuries or conditions. The Studio is not responsible for any injuries or health conditions arising from participation.
Media Release
By becoming a member, you grant Ahimsa Studios, LLC permission to use your image in photographs or videos taken during classes or events for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please inform the Studio in writing.
Liability Waiver
All members must sign a separate Waiver and Release of Liability prior to participating in any Studio activities. This document remains on file and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Studio Closures and Schedule Changes
The Studio reserves the right to modify its class schedule or temporarily close for holidays, events, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. Memberships will not be refunded or extended unless closures exceed seven (7) consecutive days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes shall be resolved in Washington state courts.
By purchasing or renewing a membership with Ahimsa Studios, LLC, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
