Sharon Barto Gouran

Sharon is a yoga teacher with over 14 years experience,  seasoned Breathwork facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and Psychic Medium. Her goal through these modalities is to help you settle more deeply into yourself and to reconnect to your inherent wholeness. Sharon has been practicing yoga since 2003 and teaching since 2011. Having begun practicing with primarily physical motives, she soon discovered a much deeper connection between the mind, body, and spirit through breath. The sense of peace beginning to carry over from the mat into daily life was impossible to ignore. Through these modalities, Sharon believes we can connect more deeply to the wisdom within our own hearts.

Sharon encourages both creativity and mindfulness in her classes. Acknowledging that yoga is a life-long journey, she emphasizes honoring the body for where it is in the present moment. Through a mixture of both dynamic and nurturing asana, Sharon helps encourage a gradual opening of the body and quieting of the mind by honoring and expanding the breath. 

Sharon is also a long-time actor in the Seattle area. 

Certifications and training include: 200 E-YRT with Yogalife- Seattle, WA, Reiki Level 1 & 2 with Faith Macauley, Reiki Level 3 with Michael Emanuel, Level 1-3 Advanced Breathwork with Tai Hubbert, and Mediumship with Danielle Searancke and Dominique Boag.

Connect to your breath - connect to your heart and body. 

During this breathwork ceremony, you will be supported in reclaiming the deeply healing and profound gifts of your breath. In this two hour ceremony, Sharon Barto Gouran will lead you through conscious, connected breathing to help you turn inward and create space for inner exploration.

This ceremony is an opportunity to pause from daily life and connect to the deep wisdom within.

This type of breathwork is a contemporary form of active, conscious, and connected breathing that helps regulate and calm the nervous system, move stuck energy, ignite creativity, and connect to non-ordinary states of consciousness. Our breath is the only piece of our Autonomic Nervous System that we can consciously change and influence. Therefore, it can be a powerful tool in regulating our systems.

Sharon will hold the space for you to explore your breath with gentle guidance and support.
