Emily Parzybok

Instructor

Emily Parzybok is a yoga and meditation teacher from Seattle. She has taught yoga and meditation since 2012. Yoga and meditation classes with her are opportunities for learning the body from the inside out. Classes are focused on relaxing the nervous system and using directed awareness to find physical challenge as well as deep rest.

Emily has completed over 1000 hours of training in hatha, vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga with teachers including Sarah Powers, Tias Little, Paul Grilley, Darren Main, Kathryn Budig, and others. Emily has trained in Buddhist meditation, Internal Family Systems therapy, and a variety of modalities to work with the mind and nervous system. She has spent over 100 nights on silent retreat, completed the Dedicated Practitioners Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and guides others in meditation to build a practice of self-inquiry and quiet.  During the pandemic, Emily co-founded the New School Collective, a community of yoga teachers that offered pay-what-you-can virtual yoga through the pandemic.

In addition to a yoga teacher, Emily is a political consultant and writer.
